After the collapse of the USSR, the separatist movement in the former Chechen-Ingush Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic sharply intensified, which led to the proclamation of the unrecognized Republic of Ichkeria, as well as its armed conflicts with Russia. The most fierce battles took place during the First and Second Chechen wars.

The result of the first war was the signing of the Khasavyurt agreements. For the first time, the Chechen authorities have entered into an agreement with the Russian authorities based on the principles of international law; this was enshrined in an agreement dated May 12, 1997 between the Russian Federation and the CRI. At the same time, the final agreement on the status of Chechnya was postponed until December 2001. The withdrawal of Russian troops followed. Chechnya became de facto independent again.

Destroyed houses and villages were not restored.

The second war began on August 7, 1999 and lasted until April 16, 2009 (active hostilities until 2000).

With the help of the former Mufti of the CRI, Akhmat Kadyrov, the power of the CRI was overthrown in 2000. But the fighting continued until 2009, taking the form of "guerrilla warfare."

CRI President Aslan Maskhadov died in 2005, and field commander Shamil Basayev died in 2006.

Military black metal is a phenomenon that, as it should be, has grown out of the most extreme genres of metal, such as death and black metal. Metal music is very militarized, especially death and black, it is always confrontation, war, in fictional universes such as religion - god and devil, asgard and ragnarok, frodo and sauron! Metal music has always been about war, about struggle, about death and pain.
Only in military black metal, there is more politics and realism, rather than fictional religions and other mythologies.
On the day of the Russian special forces on August 29, I am releasing two albums of the most ardent representatives of military black metal, where the main theme is the war of the last decades, which is waged by Russia!
